I was only looking at the external factors that I thought mattered.
I was coming from a manager title → moving to a coordinator title
I was coming from salary pay → moving to hourly pay
I had a company vehicle benefit → obviously did not at Uber
I was so fixated on the short-term gratification that I failed to consider the long-term benefits.
Fortunately, some trusted friends challenged me to re-consider and imagine the long-term opportunities.

I learned an incredible amount of new skills.
