About Me
My Backstory
Well, hey there!
I’m flattered you’re interested in learning more about me. I firmly believe that as humans, we are more than just our work selves. We’re complex and multifaceted, and limiting people to just their jobs or past experiences feels disingenuous.
SO, on that note, here’s more of a deep dive on me:
I live in the beautiful city of San Francisco, by way of Chicago. I adore the Bay Area for its outdoor offerings, including national parks, beaches, and mountains. I share my home with my dog Poppy, who you will definitely see sneak onto my lap for a nap during coaching calls.
I’ve always been fascinated by endurance sports like running and cycling. I find the combination of the outdoors and endurance sports great for my mental health. I’m not sure anything opens up my heart more than a good poem. Mary Oliver is a personal favorite. I love getting lost in a podcast or youtube rabbit hole on some historical topic. Curiosity is an important value of mine and it’s a big reason why I found my way into the world of coaching.
Before my coaching career, I spent over a decade at well known tech companies like Uber, Square, and Meta. I had the privilege of leading various teams during this time. Through both success and failure, these were the critical years where I learned what my leadership DNA was.
I found myself most fulfilled when connecting deeply with others and fostering an environment for my team to learn and grow. This is what ultimately led me to coaching.
If you’re interested in learning more about me, I regularly share my thoughts in blog posts linked below.
